For those of you hip to the Medium.com vibes, The Guitar Journal is now maintaining a regular publication over there called simply The Guitar Journal (medium.com/the-guitar-journal).
If you’re already a part of Medium, pop on over to our profile and give us a follow:
We’re just getting started, so we’d love any suggestions or feedback (or article submissions!)
What’s Medium?

Medium.com has become a great gathering place for writers, articles, info, and bloggers. Anyone can join and anyone can write. Jeff Bezos has notoriously used it to deliver a blog piece. More importantly, innumerable writers, ranging from beginners to professional brands, use it to share their articles and essays.
Medium describes itself this way:
Medium taps into the brains of the world’s most insightful writers, thinkers, and storytellers to bring you the smartest takes on topics that matter. So whatever your interest, you can always find fresh thinking and unique perspectives.
The fun part of Medium for me is that you can quickly scroll through and see a lot of great articles from people I would not have know to check on my own.
And if I want to understand a concept, or learn about a topic, it’s an easy place to go and get concise write-ups.
We’re hoping that presenting The Guitar Journal’s content in this venue will help other musicians find the inspiration and information that they’re looking for too.
If you’re curious, check it out and let us know what you think in the comments below.
Quick Note: Are you a writer on Medium.com?
If so, we’d love to feature you in the new publication. To contribute, please email your Medium “draft link” or published piece to jesse@theguitarjournal.com
